Hong Kong is a Special Administrative Region of the People’s Republic of China. It is a territory of about 1070 sq. km. located at the trading crossroads of Asia. Hong Kong is one of the world’s leading economies, a major manufacturing and international financial centre, the world’s busiest container port and the main gateway to the Chinese mainland.

Lectures by Speakers
English should be used for presentations and discussions. Each keynote speaker will be assigned with 35 minutes (which includes time for Q&A time), while other invited speakers will be assigned 20-25 minutes, including Q&A time.
Currency
The current exchange rate is US$1 = HK$7.8 approximately. Most foreign currencies can be freely exchanged at banks, shops and money changers. There is no exchange control for inward or outward remittances. Travelers’ cheques and major credit cards are widely accepted.
Electricity
The voltage and frequency used in Hong Kong are 220 volts and 50 Hz, respectively.
Communication
Hong Kong has one of the best communication networks in the world. Local calls are free but cost HK$1 when calling from public telephones. Participants are reminded that hotels charge a high levy for IDD calls made in-house. Furthermore, Free Wi-Fi will be made available at the conference site.
